| Well as most of you already know I am no longer with SGP Racing. I owned part of SGP racing and ran the day to day operations for nine years. About two months ago I took my first personal day off in nine years and went to the movies and dinner with my wife. When I got home I tried to check our email and found out the password had been changed. So then I checked a few other accounts including our banking account and they had either been changed or were closed down. Well of course I picked up the phone and called my business partner Mark to find out what was going on. I left several messages and even went to his house to find out WTF. After no return calls I was told what was going on by one of our employees that I got a hold of. I had no idea of any problems or concerns what so ever before this point. I had my cell phone on me all day and never received a phone call about anything. Turns out all of this came down to a money dispute. What really gets to me is after 9 years of doing business together I didn't even get a phone call from my partner Mark. NOTHING...not even an email. After two months I haven't received anything from Mark even after a few emails to him. I think this speaks volumes as to a person's character and obviously there is no chance I would want to stay in business with someone of this character. Mark has now hired a lawyer and I have done the same. So between the lawyer's and the court system we will figure out who is right and who is wrong. I am very confident that justice will be served. I spent a month thinking about going into another business and leaving what I love behind. But I have received so many emails and calls from former/current customers that I decided to open my own shop and continue to do what I love. I hope I can continue to have the customers/friends that I have the pleasure of working with for the past 9 years. Now that I have total control over this new business I hope to make my customer service even better then I had built up at SGP. The new shop will start out as a parts only shop but I have secured a 2000 sq/ft building with a service bay so I will probably expand to doing installs in the future. Also I was not going to do motor builds but I have had so many requests for them that I have decided to continue to offer this service.
